1The Association shall be called Newport Pagnell Fishing Association and shall be managed by a committee comprising of a maximum of 14 members, 4 to form a quorum.

 

2 The committee shall appoint from its number a Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Head Bailiff, Fisheries Officer and such other designations as are appropriate

 

3 The committee shall have powers to co-opt members to fill vacancies or to undertake specific duties. Such appointments to be subject of ratification at the next AGM

 

4 At each AGM, one third of the committee number shall present themselves for re election. Selection to be based on the length of service since the last AGM appointment.

 

5 An Annual General meeting of the members shall be held each year. The committee shall be responsible for presenting an audited statement of account to the AGM.

 

6 Camping is not allowed on any of our venues. A maximum stay of 12 hours applies to all river stretches and then no return within 12 hours. A maximum stay of 3 nights applies to still waters and then no return to the same pit within 24 hours.

 

7 Each angler may use a maximum of 3 rods at any one time, EXCEPT for the Kingfisher and rivers, where only 2 may be used, subject to the member purchasing an additional permit from the Secretary. Appropriate Environment Agency licenses MUST be held. The total distances between all rods in use must not exceed 3mtrs or any other lower limit that may be introduced through regional bylaws.

 

8 Members and other persons must show their sport tickets or license to any water bailiff, landowner or any other member if requested to do so.

 

9 No member shall leave rubbish of any description on the bank. No dogs shall be allowed and no approach shall be made to the water through mown grass or growing crops. All gates shall be closed after passing through. No rubbish shall be thrown in to the water. Numbered pegs shall not be removed without authorisation. Members will be responsible for any litter at their peg

 

10 Tournaments or competitions may be held at the discretion of the committee. Stretches reserved for such matches shall be shown in the official fixture list. Members have no rights to reserve stretches for exclusive use in unofficial matches. Venues shown in the official fixture list must be vacated at lest 2 hours before the draw time shown

 

11 The committee reserves the right of granting or refusing tickets to anyone

 

12 Members are not to carry guns unless authorised by the owner of the shooting rights.

 

13 No alteration can be made to any rule unless 14 days notice is given in writing to the secretary prior to the Annual General Meeting.

 

14 Keep nets must be minimum size of 8ft x 15ins if round. 8ft a 15ins x 10ins if rectangular, or any such size as the Environment Agency may require

 

15 Except for official work parties, No boats, dinghies or other water vessels including  bait boats, are allowed
