16 Members may purchase guest tickets. Members must accompany their guests on the water and shall be responsible for acquainting them with the Rules of the Association. Otherwise day tickets are not available. Guest tickets cannot be purchased on the bank.

 

17 Neither the Association nor the committee, Trustees or landowners shall be responsible for any sustained or damage committed while fishing or travelling to and from Association waters.

 

18 Use of fixed lead rigs, which cannot release on snagging, are banned when carp fishing.

 

19 This ticket remains the property of the Association and any breach of these rules will render a member liable to expulsion at the sole discretion of the committee.

 

20 Members must use their best endeavours to keep fish alive and return them to the water. Fish retained in Keep nets, Keep sacks etc, must not be left unattended

 

21 Tins or cans must not be taken onto Association waters

 

22 No fires to be lit on banks except under the control of official working parties.

 

23 Carp, other than crucians, and barbel are not to be kept in keep nets. If necessary to retain barbel, tubes must be used. This rule does not apply  to official matches

 

24 Fisheries maintenance works, including the lopping of trees, erection of platforms and digging of banks may only be carried out with prior consent of the fisheries development officer.

 

25 When fishing the Kingfisher pit barbless hooks must be used.

 

26 Junior members ( under 16 ) must be accompanied by an adult member at all times when fishing between dusk and dawn.

 

27 In the event of a suspected national record, the captor must  ensure that an association officer is notified within 48 hours

 

28 No bivvies are allowed on river stretches—this includes additional coverings for umbrellas

 

29 An adult member ( 18yrs or over ) may have in their charge one junior guest under the age of 12yrs. There will be no charge for the child.

 

30 No alcohol is allowed on any association waters
