The 124th AGM was held at the Royal British Legion, last Friday
(25th February). It was a low key affair, but there were a few points of
interest.
Subscription for Adults was raised from £33 to £35 all other subscriptions
remain the same.

Bruce Roughley (Chairman) reported that there had been a problem with the Kingfisher lake. A severe Duckweed infestation in 2010 had effected the water, to such an extent that oxygen levels had been depleted to below normal levels. The Environment Agency (EA) had been consulted during the summer and visited site. Efforts were made to increase the oxygen levels, but the Duckweed was so severe, levels dropped again. The EA returned in February 2011, and performed several nettings, with absolute minimum shows (a few Tench). Monitoring in 2011 will continue the situation.
The date of the next AGM was agreed as 24th February 2012, 8pm, Royal British Legion

20th February 2011
Suggestions for a new home page are sort, please supply in HTML format, however, if you are not technical in that area a good description that I can use would suffice (but tips such as "make it better" or "It needs some pictures" are of no use). If you are technically minded, a file sample (index.html) would do nicely.
